Podcast Review: ‘Orange is the New Black’ Season 3

The Netflix comedy/drama sensation Orange is the New Black‘s returns with its third season. As the inmates of Litchfield Penitentiary become more entwined as a community, learning to get along together behind bars, new characters are introduced, previously brushed over inmates find themselves in the spotlight, and a guard unionization plot leads the way for friction and further troubles for the women of the prison. Though not as strong as previous seasons, OITNB Season 3 has some high points that keep us engaged with the characters and the story, but some of the lower points drag this season down from the greatness of its predecessors, and in our latest podcast we discuss these high and low points and where we hope Season 4 will take us.
